Experience a quintessential Chattanooga trail adventure on the 20K course, from riverfront to ridgeline, showcasing the city's diverse terrain. The adventure begins outside Erlanger Park before quickly leaving downtown behind. Following the Tennessee River, runners move from the heart of the Scenic City into the forests of Lookout Mountain, where they'll hop on Far Enough Trail- protected land stewarded by the Lookout Mountain Conservancy. From there, they'll get ready to climb.

The reward is a spectacular mix of flowing multiuse, singletrack, rocky bluff lines, towering hardwood forests, and views that have made Chattanooga one of the premier trail destinations in the Southeast. After reaching the bluff of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga's National Military Park, the course turns downhill to Craven's House, delivering a fast and rewarding descent back toward the river on Guild Trail before an unforgettable finish inside Erlanger Park.

This beautiful 20K is the perfect introduction to Chattanooga trail running—an exciting blend of city, mountain, history, and adventure.
